Website Updates

Hello UCR Circle K'ers,

I'm back to write another post after a pretty long hiatus. Keeping up with homework, studying for exams, writing papers, and keeping an active Circle K life can be tiring at times. But so far its been a relaxing day because I just woke up from a good eight hour rest. For the website, I have made a few changes to the navigation bars:

A new tab named "Events" contains "Upcoming Events" and "Past Events" so you can know more information about upcoming events or just relive the past events we've had. Also, the "District Events" tab contains specific information about each past and upcoming major district event. The "Resources" tab contains meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and past newsletters.

D.O. Captive weekend is coming up so I wish all attendees a safe, and fun trip. Also, FTC is around the corner and that should be an awesome experience up in North Cal.

Thanks for reading and wish everyone good luck on upcoming exams.

Yay for the New School Year!

Hello Circle K member.

It's going to be another great UCR year with all the awesome board members I have had the pleasure to know. But you, as part of Circle K membership, are the driving force behind our mission to serve the children of the world. Your active membership helps this organization make a larger impact locally in our community. Thank you for your interest.

Now I will blog about my webmaster duties and/or my college life, any technology related updates, and any announcements for the website. I hope you will consider taking my role in the future or any other leadership position.

Today, I finally updated the games and video media pages for all to enjoy while checking out the site. More photos have been uploaded courtesy of our historian, Betty. I am working to put up the member recognition program chart at the suggestion of Kendra. Also, a system is in the works for a online service project sign-up. I'm thinking about using the forms feature of Google Documents...but anyone can comment suggestions below.

Please attend our first meeting of the quarter on September 30th, Commons 355 at 6:00pm! We certainly welcome all freshman who were involved in Key Club or Kiwins and any students interested in community service. :)

Comment anything you like :)
